Can I upload my own data template to ACAwise?

Yes, if you have your employee’s ACA data in an existing template, you can upload it to your ACAwise account. The following are acceptable file formats: doc, Docx, csv, zip, digital pdf, xls, xlsx, xlsm, or XML. When you share your ACA data in any of these file formats, our technical team uses custom programming to extract your files' information and generate your forms.

Please note that we cannot process scanned PDFs. 

If your template is different from the accepted file formats, you have the option to download our ACAwise template. This can be found under the template menu in your ACAwise account. 

Download the appropriate form template and fill in the required information. This includes the employee’s basic details, the employee’s offer, and coverage details along with covered individuals. After adding your data to the excel template, upload it back into your account for processing.

You can download the appropriate template based on the insurance coverage information. Fill in the required information, including employer details, employee’s basic details, and insurance coverage details in the downloaded excel template, then upload it back into your account for processing. 

Once you have uploaded your file, we will process your data, generate 1094 and 1095 forms with the required ACA codes, and send them for your review. Upon approval, we will e-file the forms to the IRS and postal mail copies of your employees' forms.
